Drinking a 2015 Barrique Chardonnay from Sonoma as I find out that I passed my WSET2 exam! Woohoo! 😊🙌🏻🍾🎉
In honor of passing, I am going to write about this wine WSET-style. This is how we wrote about wines for each class: 🗒
Appearance: Clear, pale lemon
Smell: Clean and crisp with a light-medium intensity. Notes of citrus (lemon), stone fruit, gravel minerality
Taste: Dry, high acidity, medium bodied with notes of oak (croissant) and pear coming out. Medium finish.
Quality: Good…easy drinking, but is more flavorful on its on than without food. I would have liked more complexity in the oak flavors
From now on, how should I write my wine descriptions? WSET-style or the way I used to? Let me know in the comments below!⬇️⬇️⬇️
